Zombie kid
(Case File 13 #1)
For readers who like thrills with their laughs, Case File 13 is a satisfying new series that blends irreverent humor, page-turning adventure, a mysterious narrator, and the kind of authentic characters that will leave young readers convinced this story is about their own best friends.
Case File 13: Zombie Kid follows three monster-obsessed friends who must solve fiendishly funny mysteries in their creepy hometown. Nick, Carter, and Angelo are obsessed with all things monster. And every Halloween they get to show off their monster-knowledge with elaborate homemade costumes. But this year, a surprise trip to the house of an aunt who may have been a voodoo queen throws a major wrench into the boys' Halloween plans and lands Nick with a cursed amulet that turns him into a real, live (well, undead) zombie.
To Nick and his friends, this is . . . awesome! At first. Then the whole zombie thing starts to get a little out of hand (literally), and the boys have to go on a chilling adventure to reverse the curse. One that involves a talking cat, a skeleton who likes candy corn, and even the dreaded Zombie King himself.

I read this book while completing my reading goals for this year. You can find this book at PNM reader. What makes me want to read is because of the blurb of the book, the way that the author describes the adventure of the three Musketeers ( Nick, Carter and Angelo). They're obsessed with monsters and their favourite holiday of course Halloween 🎃
Ahem. Well, Nick, it is a scary story. In this volume alone, there are voodoo queens, graveyards—even the dreaded Zombie King himself.
Yeah, but there's also the part where Angie gets mashed potatoes all in her face, and the part where I use my cool zombie powers to—
All right, point taken. Now, if you don't mind . . .
You hold in your hands a very dangerous, very funny record, detailing the hilarious adventures of three boys who have an awesome obsession with monsters. This is the first volume. Read on if you dare
I don't know about you guys, but for me that's catchy paragraph. I like the strong bonds between the boys which believed each other. Yeah hello, do you think you would believed if one of your friend said they're turning into zombie? Well that would be nonsense (for adults) but not for them. They stick together and find a way to reverse the curse and hope that their friend will be normal again.
In this book, you will meet with a black cat that can talk. Yeah once again cat! it's a purrfect story to read during Halloween. The language that author used easy to understand and not thick since this book is more suitable for primary KS2 and KS3. Overall i give ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ out of ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
