[MOVIE] Insidious: The red door

For those who watched this movie before will know that it end with the red door. So this the another chapter of the red door. While this chapter follows the familiar formula of its predecessors, it adds a fresh twist, plunging us into a world where the line between dreams and reality becomes blurred.

The story revolves around a young family who moves into an old Victorian house, only to discover a foreboding red door in the basement that holds the key to a malevolent force threatening their lives. It begin after the 9 years of the last incident of the red door. The kids already grew up but “Dalton” the main character in the story still be haunted by the red door after he accidently woken the memories of it by his drawing teacher during one of the drawing session.

Well same as the previous movie, this movie also using the same elements haunting cinematography. The dimly lit rooms, sinister shadows, and clever camera angles create an intense sense of dread throughout. However, for my opinion this movie is the worse if comparing it to the previous movie. There is not enough development of the movie,a lot of unaswered questions and minimal CGI effects which end up make me bored. Overall, I’m really dissapointed by this movie or perhaps my expectation is too high.
